As a church family we are acutely aware of the call on our lives to bring the "Hope of Christ" to those around us. Jesus is our Anchor! "This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls." (Hebrews 6:19)
A portion of the Bible that has shaped our faith and ignited our passion is II Corinthians 5:18 And God has given us this task of reconciling people to him. 19 For God was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, no longer counting people’s sins against them. And he gave us this wonderful message of reconciliation. 20 So we are Christ’s ambassadors; God is making his appeal through us. We speak for Christ when we plead, “Come back to God!” I cannot think of any greater honor and privilege than being an "Ambassador of Hope."
I am finishing up a six week membership series on being an Ambassador of Hope and Minister of Reconciliation and God is knitting our hearts together in an unprecedented fashion! I am blessed beyond measure to pastor a church family that hungers and thirsts for the "Manifest Presence of God" so that we may bring liberty to those who are oppressed and hope to those who are cast down! Kingdom of God come, will of God be done!
